Ross Allan, formerly of Plymouth Albion, is back training with old team-mates at Jersey RFC
AFTER four years with Plymouth Albion RFC, Ross Allan is back at home with Jersey RFC.
How long he will be here he does not know, but the popular former Jersey Academy player, who captained both Plymouth and Devon and has made rugby his career, is looking forward to swapping the Championship with National Division III, for the time being at least.
‘I’m really looking forward to playing for Jersey,’ the 24-year-old said at the Jersey Rugby Club last Saturday. ‘They’re a great bunch of lads and I’m looking forward to working this season with the coach, Ben Harvey.
‘There are other options in the pipeline at the minute but I’m taking each day as it comes. At some stage I’d like to compete Down Under, probably in New Zealand, but who knows, at the moment, what the futures will bring?’
