Good luck to rescue dogs and the handlers

WHAT a lovely happy photo of Raven the Belgian shepherd and Corporal Joe Jones (JEP, 28 August).

The three rescued dogs that will join the Army from our Animals Shelter are going to have the time of their lives from now on.

Yes, they will possibly be in the danger zone at some point in their future life, but then so will their brave handlers and they will learn to look after each other.

These three intelligent dogs need the discipline, training, exercise and love they will receive in the Army and you can tell already from Raven’s photo that he cannot wait to get started.

Good luck to them and their handlers. I wish them love and a long and happy life together.
