Josh Baudains had 11 victories in eight weeks in the UK
JUNIOR show jumper Josh Baudains was in action in the Scope Festival of Show Jumping last week.
Having qualified on pony Texas John he finished 21st and 17th in his classes at the event capping off his most successful season to date on the UK circuit.
In the eight weeks of competition he took 11 victories, five second place finishes and four thirds – nine of the wins on Texas John with the others on Cactus and Robe Duster.
The 15-year-old Les Quennevais student is enjoying his third season on the UK circuit where he is based at Fox Farm Equestrian Centre and coached by David Wingrove.
Baudains, who is supported by the Jersey Sports Advisory Council, returned to local competition on Saturday to finish first and second in the JA Junior Grand Prix event.
