Online group for small firms

Forum chairman James Baker
A NEW online group has been created to give small businesses in Jersey a place to comment on the issues affecting them.
The Google group has been set up by the Jersey Small Business Forum, to give the local business community somewhere to communicate with the Economic Development Department.
It will also provide somewhere for the Forum to keep people up to date on the subjects it is reviewing and how they are progressing.
The Jersey Small Business Forum has been operating since last October and meets on a monthly basis. Its chairman, James Baker, said that the forum’s aim was to pass on the business community’s views to the States, but that until now they had had no easy way of gathering opinion. The new Google group can be found at http://groups.google.com/group/jsbfp.
