Wanderers defeat Tower to move top

CHAMPIONS Jersey Wanderers went joint top of the Under-18 Division in the Junior League on Sunday after scoring ten times without reply against First Tower United.
At the Hockey Club, Decio Nascimento scored four times in the win while singles were added by Ryan Connon, Dan Tardivel, Kamen Nafkha, Charlie Payn, Harry Watson and Andrew Gee.
St Paul’s bounced back from their recent defeat by Wanderers to win 6-1 against the home team at St Clement. Nick Wildman and Stephen Coleman bagged hat-tricks for the winners while Luke Norman hit St Clement’s consolation.
First Tower moved to the top of the under-16 Division, on goal-difference, after they won 5-2 at La Hague Manor against previously-undefeated St Clement.
