MRO Morello Powerbikes Clubman Cup rider Rob Currie still has his sights set on finishing second in the championship.

Competing at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit at the weekend in the penultimate race of the season Currie battled hard but could not close down the two point advantage that second placed Gerrard Fallon had.

However, with Fallon only six points ahead going into the final round it will all come down to the last race at Thruxton next month.

At Brands Hatch Currie put in a qualifying time on his Grafters GSX-R only two tenths of a second slower than his best ever, but Fallon was a second quicker putting him three rows ahead on the grid.
