Fast Net challenge for Guthrie
Thursday 8th October 2009, 3:01PM BST.

Jersey’s Bath and England netball star Serena Guthrie, pictured with the Super League mascot, will be in Fast Net international action tomorrow
TRADITIONAL netball rules go out of the window with the start of the World Netball Series tomorrow.
Jersey’s Serena Guthrie (19) is the youngest player named in the 12-strong England squad that will take on Samoa and New Zealand on the first day in Manchester.
With the world’s top six netball teams coming together for 20 matches in three days spectators can look forward to a new, fast and furious, version of the game called, appropriately, Fast Net.
Teams can also elect one quarter as a power play when any goals scored will be doubled. Sky Sports will have live coverage of England’s matches, starting at 2.30 pm for the Samoa match and 6.30 pm for the New Zealand clash tomorrow.
On Saturday this continues with England taking on Jamaica, Malawi, and Australia.
