GROUVILLE moved into the semi-finals of the Wheway Memorial Trophy last night with a 3-0 win over St Ouen at Les Quennevais.

The Easterners defeated the Westerners for the third time this season in various competitions following two penalty kicks from Bradley Russell and substitute Mick Parland’s headed goal in stoppage time.

Grouville, who take a 100 per cent Dandara Jersey Football Combination Premiership record to champions St Paul’s on Saturday, have now won their last four matches in all competitions.

Manager Ian Horswell said: ‘I made changes ahead of the St Paul’s game and those who came in all did well. We’ve got a lot of new faces this season and that was the best I’ve seen from them collectively last night.’
