AN award-winning Indian chef will soon be treating Londoners to a taste of Jersey with a spicy twist.

Cyrus Todiwala will launch a new menu for his east London restaurant Café Spice Namasté this month that will mix Jersey produce with Indian ingredients.

And he has promised to help young Island chefs get the right training and experience to do well in the catering industry.

Mr Todiwala, who is a regular on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and Masterchef, was in the Island last week to teach a class of Highlands College catering students.
