A brother and sister were among the winners of races in the Primary Schools Open Cross Country event yesterday.
Hundreds took to the fields at Les Quennevais for the event.
There was success for JCG’s Emma Dempsey in the Year 5 girls’ race and Janvrin’s Yasmin Lookess in Year 6, with their schools winning the respective team events.
Pierre Sangan was fastest in the Year 5 boys’ race, with James Dempsey, Emma’s brother, taking the Year 6 honours. Both are Victoria College Prep students with their school also winning team honours.
