More direct flights to the Med

CI Travel Group managing director Robert Mackenzie is delighted with the success of routes to destinations including Majorca
DIRECT flights from Jersey to the Mediterranean and Tenerife have taken off so well this year that more departures have been added to the 2010 service.
Fourteen flights have taken Islanders to Mallorca, Malaga and Tenerife this year, with the same number proposed for 2010.
But the CI Travel Group, who runs the service, has decided to increase the number of departures next year to 26 and add Menorca to the list of destinations.
The company’s managing director, Robert Mackenzie, said that the decision to boost the number of flights was taken after Islanders responded well to this year’s service.
