THE 28th annual AIB Tigers Swimming Club Open is being held at the Les Quennevais Sports Centre this weekend.
Over 250 swimmers will be taking part in a full programme of class swimming in what has become a high profile meet for Island swimming.
Competition starts at 6 o’clock tomorrow evening and finishes on Sunday with the ever-popular 100 metre freestyle race at 3.30 pm.
Regular visiting clubs Truro City, Alton and District, Llantrisant Sharks are taking part along with newcomers Bradford, Reading ,Wycombe, Beccles Kingfishers and Crew Flyers.
The visiting clubs will give the four Channel Islands clubs some stiff competition, particularly 14-year-old Kay D’Courcy who looks a strong contender seeded in the top heat in many of her events.
