A quest for two sisters
Friday 23rd October 2009, 3:00PM BST.
A MAN who lives in Guernsey is hoping to be able to re-establish contact with his two sisters who, he thinks, are living in Jersey.
Charles Pengelley was born in Guernsey, as were his sisters, Joyce and Shirley, and all three left home once they had reached the age of 16.
Charles knows that both his sisters moved to Jersey. They kept in touch, and Shirley used to pop back to see her brother in Guernsey on a regular basis. Then Charles moved to work in England for a couple of years and they lost touch. That was 23 years ago.
Charles would like to get back in touch with his sisters, but he has found no trace of any Pengelleys in Jersey so thinks his sisters may well have married – but doesn’t know their married names.
So if Shirley or Joyce are reading this, Charles would love to hear from you. The number to ring is on 07781 111 986.
