A DRAGON’S Den-style network in which Jersey entrepreneurs and businesses are linked with wealthy investors will hold its first event tomorrow.

Island companies and potential ‘business angel investors’ are urged to attend the event to find out more about how the recently launched Jersey Business Angels Network will operate.

The event is at the Royal Yacht between 9 am and 11 am and is entitled Raising Finance: The Jersey Business Angels Network. It will act as a broad introduction to the business angels concept and how it will operate in Jersey.

London business angels firm Envestors LLP are running the scheme in conjunction with Jersey Enterprise. Two Envestors LLP directors came to the Island last month to launch the network in Jersey. The Jersey network has been co-ordinated by local business consultant Ed Daubeney.
