Juniors on the up at the Fort

JJCAI moved up to second place in Division I of the NatWest Indoor Cricket League last night with a two wicket victory over Centurions.

Centurions were all out for 53 in 11.4 overs with Steven Blackburn helping with their dismissal bowling 2 for 10.

An unbeaten 29 from Ben Beeley was the highlight of JJCA’s batting performance as they totted up 55 runs for the victory, Andy Coleman taking two wickets in the process.

In Division II Aztec Springfield put in a clinical performance to continue their reign at the top of the table. They beat JJCAII last night at Fort Regent by 23 runs having posted 108 for the loss of four wickets in 12 overs with Tristan Hanson (27) and Peter Brookes (22) topscoring.
