Matt Banahan will play for England against Australia on Saturday
Jerseyman Matt Banahan will make his official international Twickenham debut for England this Saturday.
The 22-year-old Bath Guinness Premiership winger has been named in the line-up to start against Australia for the first of the Autumn internationals. The team was named by England rugby union manager Martin Johnson at noon today.
This will be his third England cap after winning two against Argentina this summer, one at Old Trafford and the other in South America.
He scored in both those games, following up another try-scoring performance for England in a non-cap match against the Barbarians at Twickenham. This call-up gives him his first official cap for England at the home of rugby.
