Condor services to and from St Malo have been curtailed by the forecast of violent weather
ISLANDERS are facing major travel disruption as heavy rain and gales are forecast to blast across Jersey during the next 24 hours.
The Jersey Met Office this morning issued a severe gale warning for tonight and early tomorrow.
It has warned that winds could reach severe gale force nine with gusts up to 70 mph tonight, and possibly storm force ten in the mid-Channel.
The weather began to cause disruption at the Harbour this morning, with several services being either cancelled or brought forward to avoid the strongest of the winds.
