WITH the Ambassadeur Bowl under-21 Muratti silverware regained, Jersey Football Association officials have now turned their thoughts to appointing a senior Island team manager.
JFA president Ricky Weir said that talks started over the weekend and it is possible that an appointment will be made in the next three to four weeks.
Weir said: ‘Nothing has been decided as of yet, we wanted to get the under-21s’ match out of the way first and hopefully an announcement can be made in the next three to four weeks.
‘Vice-president Iain Mackenzie and I spoke about it over the weekend and we will shortly hold discussions with a couple of candidates who we have in mind.’
