THE battle to get into the top flight of the Dominion Winter Netball League is simmering nicely.
As the season, for some, nears the half-way mark it looks like it’s going to be an interesting promotion race for many of the teams in Division II.
St Ouen B lead the charge, their 44-32 victory this week over Accies C, without three of their regular setup, ensuring they keep the top spot while their opposition drop to third place.
Displaying slick passing and movement Saints bounced back from an early deficit to edge ahead in the second quarter and maintained their advantage throughout.
Hannah Jauncey applied good pressure for Accies at goal defence while Saints’ Courtney Daniels was supreme as goal shooter, the pair taking the Players of the Match honours.
