IT was celebratory drinks all round for the Liberation Group on Friday night at the Chartered Institute of Marketing Awards.
The group won the top Marketing Excellence Award and the Best Brand Campaign for their Jersey-brewed Liberation Ale.
The Liberation Group, which runs Jersey pubs and drinks distributors, was the only business to walk away with two accolades.
Its chief executive Mark Crowther toasted the win with a bottle of the frothy brew. ‘I’m chuffed to bits,’ he said. ‘The business has been running for 18 months and the team has put a lot of effort in. We have had a brilliant first 18 months and this is the icing on the cake.’
