Jon Welsh
FORMER Jersey assistant manager Jon Welsh says he has not considered taking over the position of senior Island team manager.
Currently in the hot seat helping the Dandara Jersey Football Combination team, effectively an Island side, progress in the FA Carlsberg National League System Cup, Welsh says does not have the time to take on extra work because of his existing committments.
The former successful Island under-18 manager said: ‘It isn’t something I’m considering. Besides I don’t have the time because my junior football work, my business and my family take up a lot of my time already.
‘I know what the workload involves because I been assistant Island manager and I’ve part of a management team under another manager.’
