TOTTENHAM Hotspur’s manager Harry Redknapp is to be the special guest at the annual Sportingbet Channel Islands Sports Personality Awards night in January.

Redknapp, one of football’s most popular and outspoken characters, will present the main award at the Hotel de France evening on Thursday 28 January and guests will also get the chance to ask him questions in a special interview section.

The various awards are the NatWest Rising Star, the Cenkos Coach of the Year, the Kleinwort Benson Senior Team of the Year, the State Street Junior Team of the Year, the Michael Lucas Sporting Hero Award and the Sportingbet Sports Personality of the Year Award.

The shortlist will be announced early in January.
