States projects to be revealed

BUSINESSES hoping to benefit from the £5 million worth of States stimulus projects can find out about upcoming projects at an event next Thursday.
States departments are looking for civil engineers, builders, drainage services, plumbers, carpenters, joiners, stone masons, roofers and window suppliers to tender for around 30 projects.
The value of the contracts available will range from £5,000 to over £100,000.
States department heads will attend Thursday’s free event at the Radisson Hotel to talk about specific projects and provide guidance on how to submit tenders.
Economic Development Minister Alan Maclean urged businesses to attend. ‘This event will give local businesses all the necessary details about 30 projects that are due to go out to tender over the next three months. The combined value of these projects is in excess of £5 million,’ he said
