Angels wait in the wings

THE St Helier Christmas Angels have brushed off their wings to get ready once again to help shoppers in the run-up to Christmas.

For the third year running, the community scheme has been launched to run for the duration of the Fête dé Noué.

Over the next month, Angels will be on hand to help shoppers with their bags, provide information and directions to tourists and to help keep people warm and dry.

A sponsorship deal between the parish and phone service provider Sure has enabled the Angels, who are former students, to help shoppers in need.
