NETBALLER Serena Guthrie’s place in this season’s Team Bath Superleague side has been confirmed.

The 19-year-old Jersey woman returns at centre for the new season which kicks off next month for Bath with a home game against Northern Thunder on 10 December.

However, there have been several changes to the side who remained unbeaten throughout the 2008 season and beat Mavericks 54-46 in the final to reclaim the title they had previously won in 2007 and 2006.

Although once again captained by Pamela Cookey, Superleague Player of the Season, they will be without England internationals Rachel Dunn, Tamsin Greenway, and Geva Mentor who have moved to new Superleague side Surrey Storm, formerly Brunel Hurricanes, as well as Sara Bayman (Northern Thunder), and Monique Wood (Mavericks).
