THE Greenhills Country Hotel and Restaurant is being sold to Seymour Hotels.

A preliminary agreement of sale has been signed with Peter Bromley, the present owner of the AA four-star property, and the contract is expected to be ratified in the Royal Court on 18 December.

Greenhills, sited at the top of Mont de l’Ecole in St Peter, has been owned by the Bromley family since 1988 and has been personally managed by Mr Bromley since 1994.

The hotel has 31 bedrooms, the restaurant can accommodate 60 diners and there is a swimming pool in the landscaped grounds.

    Greenhills is so many peoples favourite restaurant. Depending on what plans Seymour have for the continuation, many will hope it will match the very high standards set by Peter Bromley.
