A SMALL IT firm has made it big and partnered up with Jersey’s largest telecoms company.

iConsult has developed a service that has impressed Jersey Telecom so much that they want to sell it in their Queen Street shop.

OnePoint Office effectively allows businesses to get rid of their computer servers and shift all their data onto a secure hosted network.

Everything is stored on a web portal that can be accessed anywhere in the world.
The service enables businesses with multiple offices to run one single IT system for a ‘pay as you go’ monthly rental fee.

‘You log on to the web page and get what you need to do your work, whether it be Microsoft Word, Outlook or software such as SAGE or QuickBooks,’ explained iConsult director Tony Moffa. ‘Hosted services are a flexible way to manage IT. The days of having servers are gone. All over the world IT is moving in this direction. This is the future.’
