THE Credit Suisse Jersey Badminton team found the going tough in the latest round of their National Counties League programme on Sunday.
Despite having the home advantage, playing at New Gilson Hall for the only time this season, Jersey were beaten 12-3 by Kent 2nds in their Division 2C clash.
The Island side were without two regulars in Chris Cotillard and Kim Ashton who were playing in a Hampshire Badminton Open event.
Nevertheless the depleted side gave it their all and fought hard with seven of the 15 matches being taken to three sets.
