A YOUNG man lost the sight in one eye after being repeatedly struck by two 16-year-old girls with stiletto heels, the Royal Court heard yesterday.
Their helpless victim was restrained by co-defendant Ryan Pallett (22) as they rained blows down on his face. All three then kicked and stamped on the unconscious 19-year-old.
Pallett was jailed for 4½ years, the 16-year-old girl for 3½ years and the 17-year-old girl for three years. The teenagers cannot be named for legal reasons.
The three all pleaded guilty to committing a grave and criminal assault on the man in Mulcaster Street, on 6 August. The court heard that the victim lost the sight in one eye and faces further surgery to reconstruct his eyelid.
