They’ve won the Lottery!

[/caption] TO stand the best chance of winning anything in the Island it would seem you need to get a job in the finance industry. For the second year in a row a syndicate from a bank has scooped the top prize in this year’s Channel Islands Christmas lottery draw. Ten IT workers from Standard Chartered Bank were the lucky winners of the record £651,000 prize, taking home just over £65,000 each the week before Christmas. In 2008, 20 bank workers from RBC wealth management won the top prize of £553,000 and in the summer 20 staff from a trust company bought the winning ticket for the Jersey Hospice Million Pound Lottery.
