More than just meatballs

Ingalill's Swedish Kitchen chef Pierre Östman and Maria Tengdahl-McLaughlin (00793830)
A NEW restaurant in Gorey is proving that Swedish cuisine is much more than meatballs.
Ingalill’s is a family-run Swedish kitchen that even serves a traditional Sunday roast with a Swedish twist.
And owner Carolina Tengdahl-McLaughlin (30) has recently acquired a new member of staff – her four-month old son, Emil.
‘I didn’t plan to have a baby and start a business in the same year,’ she said, ‘but I like that I can bring him into work with me.’
The restaurant is named after her grandmother – the woman who taught Mrs Tengdahl-McLaughlin everything she knows about cooking.
