TODAY is the busiest Christmas travel day with about 4,200 people expected to move through Jersey Airport.

However, passengers travelling to and from Southampton were experiencing long delays as a result of the runway freezing.

This morning’s Clipper sailing was delayed from 9 am until 10.30 am due to the crash.
