Professional golfer Aaron Anderson with Royal Jersey’s elite quartet of Johnny Anderson, Stanley Keites, Steven Anderson and Hannah Scriven
THE Royal Jersey Golf Club has launched an elite junior programme that they hope will help them produce the next Tommy Horton.
The Royal Elite Development Squad has been introduced with the intention of accelerating the progress of select junior players and in its inaugural year four of the club’s brightest prospects will join the programme.
Steven Anderson (15), Hannah Scriven (13), Jonny Anderson (12), and Stanley Keites (11) have been chosen following a meeting of head professional David Morgan, assistant professional Aaron Anderson, former European Senior Tour champion Tommy Horton, and RJGC club secretary Darren Attwood.
Attwood said: ‘The squad has been setup as the club wishes to invest some money into promoting a smaller number of children and offering them coaching to get them as good as they can be.’
