Residents’ parking plan for Les Quennevais
Saturday 2nd January 2010, 2:55PM GMT.

Deputy Tadier
THE first out-of-town residents’ parking zone has been mooted in Les Quennevais.
St Brelade No 2 Deputy Montfort Tadier says that people who work in and around Red Houses are taking up parking spaces, making life difficult for residents.
And the Deputy says that when residents have asked about cars which have been parked dangerously or blocking access, some have been verbally abused by workers. Deputy Tadier says that he has been talking to the St Brelade honorary police about trialling a residents parking scheme in the district.
‘Parking is a perennial problem in the area, and the situation is being made worse in certain places by shop staff going to work and leaving their cars all day,’ he said.
