Angels delight for Island duo

TWO local firms are close to securing backing from UK-based investors as a result of pitches they put before a panel of business angels in Jersey last month.

After the presentations at the Pomme d’Or Hotel in November, the two companies, NicheHunters and Virtual Access, were encouraged to attend an event in London in early December.

As a result of presenations made at the Envestors Investment Market-Place event both businesses are currently in negotiation with a number of UK investors interested in their companies.

The interest comes after James Trenholme of NicheHunters and Ed Hodnett of Virtual Access exhibited their business propositions to over 70 UK high net worth individuals from the Envestors network.
