UTILITY player Logan McGhee scored a hat-trick last night helping Trinity to a 5-1 under-18 Tregear Cup quarter-final victory against St Ouen at Les Quennevais.
Harry Watkins and Danny Roberts were also on target for the winners and Alex Langston for the losers.
Trinity manager Joe Morley said: ‘Full credit to St Ouen; they gave us a very good game, it was tight and the score line does not reflect the closeness of the game.
‘It was difficult conditions too, it was cold, there were sleet showers and pitch was very heavy in places.
‘Both teams worked hard throughout and some good football was played too. I was well impressed with St Ouen, they worked extremely hard and their players never stopped running.’
