Lord Bilimoria’s Cobra Beer is now exported to over 45 countries
THE eighth annual Jersey Enterprise Awards will be held next month and the keynote speaker has been confirmed as Lord Bilimoria, the entrepreneur and life peer who co-founded Cobra Beer.
About 800 people are expected to attend the event at Fort Regent’s Queen’s Hall, where major awards will be presented in a variety of categories.
Karan Faridoon Bilimoria has been confirmed as the main speaker at the gala dinner on 26 February. The news was welcomed by Economic Development Minister Alan Maclean. The awards are arranged by Jersey Enterprise, which is part of Economic Development.
‘We always aim to provide high-profile and inspirational speakers for the annual event and we have once again been able to secure a fantastic speaker who is a successful entrepreneur in his own right,’ said Senator Maclean, adding that the attendance of Lord Bilimoria was secured thanks to sponsorship from construction group Garenne.
