A Christmas card from Vanessa

A woman who received a Christmas card from her sister living in Jersey is hoping that she will now get in touch.

Joan Rogers, who lives with husband Peter in Plymouth, lost contact with her sister Vanessa over the years and does not have her current address or telephone number.

She remembers that Vanessa at one time worked as an auxiliary nurse at the General Hospital and that she lived at Le Caprice, 3 Bagatelle Road, St Saviour.

She said that their maiden name was Hubbard and that Vanessa would be aged 62 now. She added that Vanessa had been married to an estate agent, but that he had died some years ago.
