Schools to reopen today

The schools will be open today
Island schools will reopen today, on the third day of the school term.
Education director Mario Lundy took the decision after consulting the Met Office and Connex bus company, who said that an almost full school bus service would be running.
Schoolchildren and teachers have enjoyed an extra two days’ holiday as a result of the freezing conditions.
