Woman dies after fall through roof

A 22-YEAR-OLD woman has died after falling through a glass roof early on Sunday morning, the police revealed today.
Emergency services were called to a private address in St Saviour shortly after 6 am following a call from a member of the public. The caller said that two people had fallen through the roof.
Police officers joined the other emergency services at the scene where they found the two injured Islanders, a 22-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man.
The woman had suffered serious head injuries and was unconscious. She died later at the General Hospital. The man, who had cuts to his head and body, was treated at the hospital and has now been discharged.
Station officer Richard d’Ulivo-Rogers, of the ambulance service, said that the crews had worked well under difficult conditions.
