Welsh appeals for public to support cup bid
Tuesday 26th January 2010, 2:58PM GMT.

Manager Jon Welsh
MANAGER Jon Welsh is calling for the public to come out and support the Dandara Jersey Football Combination Select team for their FA Carlsberg National League System Cup quarter-final at Springfield Stadium on Saturday.
With Welsh recently installed as Jersey team manager his squad is very much an Island squad, with many of the players successful in winning the football final at the NatWest Island Games in Aland last summer.
The Combination faces a Dorset Premier League select for a place in the last four of the competition.
Welsh said: ‘This squad deserves the support of the public. They have played some very good football in games already and they will be working hard again on the training ground this week and looking to do well again Saturday.’
Kick off is at 1.30 pm.
