Redknapp set for Springfield coaching tomorrow

JERSEY Football Association Capita Centre of Excellence students are to feature in a 90-minute coaching session with Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp tomorrow morning.

Redknapp, in Jersey for tomorrow night’s Sportingbet Sports Personality Awards evening at the Hotel de France, will coach boys and girls from the Centre at Springfield Stadium from 9.30 am.

The coach will work with groups of six at a time. He will oversee some technical skill routines culminating in small-sided games.

Centre director Paul Renton said: ‘It’s a fantastic opportunity for the students and I know they are already looking forward to what promises to be an excellent morning for them.’
