Horwood stars as Guernsey go down

THE top team in last week’s matches in the Voisin smallbore rifle league were St Helier A who recorded a superb 1,176 to beat Guernsey by 18 points.
Bruce Horwood was man of the match on 198, with a ton on his second card, and David Le Quesne also scored a ton on his second.
Richard Pirouet, on 197, led St John to a 32-point win over Grouville, while St Lawrence were 29-point victors at home to Léoville.
Vinchelez have returned to good form and were easy winners at home to Western, with 12 points to spare.
