Two hospital wards have been closed because of the bug
TWO wards at the Hospital have closed following an outbreak of a contagious stomach bug.
Norovirus, known as the winter vomiting bug, has struck in Corbière and Plémont wards with five patients and three nurses affected.
Admissions and visiting has been restricted in the two wards as a cleaning operation gets underway.
Staff movement in the Hospital has also been limited, with only essential medical staff allowed to go into the affected wards.
