This was a fake created by the pharmaceutical industry

From Hedi Green.
IT’S official – swine flu was a fake pandemic created by the pharmaceutical industry to sell its vaccines. This confirms my concerns reported in your letters page on 26 November.
The investment bank, J P Morgan, estimate that pharmaceutical profits from swine flu related drugs have soared – with earnings between $10bn and $15bn in 2009. As we are not part of the UK tax structure, Jersey will not benefit from the tax revenue derived from such enormous profits.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is to hold an emergency debate and inquiry this month into the influence exerted by drug makers on the World Health Organisation’s global H1N1 flu campaign.
Jersey is not part of the EU. Why are we therefore blindly following directives from EU Agencies? (The European Medicine Agency, from whom Public Health get their information, derive over 60% of their funding from the pharmaceutical industry.)
Had Public Health carried out independent research, they would have been better equipped to make an informed decision that would have been better for the population and, indeed, the public purse.
We should be ashamed, not proud, of the fact that 85% of our children were vaccinated with an insufficiently tested vaccine and could go on to suffer long-term side effects.
What will happen to the individuals who were flown to Southampton for emergency treatment as a result of serious adverse reactions to the vaccine? The manufacturers of the vaccine demanded immunity from liability. What, therefore, will happen with any compensation claims from these people? Will the States of Jersey pay up?
If any doctor cared to read the leaflet that came with the vaccine, they should have been alerted by some of the ingredients, ie Squalene and Thiomersal. Robust questions should have been asked about this and the statement from the manufacturer which, in simple terms, said that the vaccine had not been tested properly and that anyone who was vaccinated was an unwitting guinea pig.
Until we can trust the advice we are given by Public Health and some of our doctors we owe it to ourselves and families to ask the following questions, before we agree to any vaccine or medicine:
• How necessary is it to vaccinate against the virus or disease in question?
• How effective are these drugs?
• How safe are they?
Check their answers, don’t be bullied and ask for back-up evidence, ie peer review studies (there were none for the swine flu vaccine).

KIT 4 CLUBS
Win a share of £10,000
2012 is the year of the London Olympics and to celebrate this great event the Jersey Evening Post, in association with sponsors Ogier is giving all sporting clubs a chance to win a share of £10,000.
Last year my doctor advised me to have the vaccination. I decided not to as I had checked some information and found that it was not likely to help me.
The first thing was that 3 people in Sweden had, at that time, died of that type of flu. The report also said that 5 people had died from having the vaccination.
Secondly I found that most victims were children apart from a few older people who had other health problems. Most older people had some immunity due to past epidemics that were similar types of flu and I am a reasonably healthy pensioner.

Wow, I must congratulate you on this SUPERB letter, and agree totally.
What a pity you haven’t got Dr Rosemary Gellers job, they all just followed the hype without even doing the research some lay people had.
Scandalous when you think about it, and yet another small fortune down the pan.
I’m surprised we aren’t innundated with visitors, after all everyone must know this is the Island that can afford to THROW money away !
