Report criticises Health Department

A HIGHLY critical report into Jersey’s Health Department and its senior management has been published.
The report, published by independent consultancy firm Verita, has criticised the way senior management at the Hospital recruit staff. It also makes almost 30 recommendations.
The report was commissioned by former Health Minister Jim Perchard following the death of staff nurse Elizabeth Rourke after she underwent a routine gynaecological operation in 2006.
