Dance diva joins Haiti line-up

AN internationally acclaimed chill-out diva has joined Jersey’s Nerina Pallot on the bill of a special fundraising concert for victims of the Haiti earthquake.

Cathy Battistessa, whose vocals feature on many dance classics and who is known as the voice of the Café Del Mar record series, has signed up for the Help Haiti CI event on 28 February.

An impressive list of local and international artists has now been announced for the day-long festival of music at Fort Regent.

Nerina, whose skills as a singer-songwriter have earned her chart success, is due to play alongside Tudor Moore, of Third Floor Tiger, Brave Yesterday, Kevin Pallot & The Pinnacles and Lloyd Yates.

Every penny raised through the concert will be donated to the Bailiff’s Jersey Disaster Appeal.
