Le Rocquier Dance Show
Saturday 6th February 2010, 12:00PM GMT.

Le Rocquier Years 7, 8 and 9 perform the Lindy Hop (00884827)
STUDENTS from Le Rocquier School took their talents from the classroom to the stage this week when they performed their annual dance show.
A total of 74 pupils took part and not only showed off their dancing abilities but also their fundraising skills by raising £1,000 for CLIC Sargent.
The students, aged from 12 to 16, were sponsored for every hour they practised for the show and donated all proceeds from their two performance nights to the cancer charity.
Ballet, contemporary and breakdancing routines were performed by both boys and girls. The more unusual performances included a tai chi demonstration and a ‘diablo’ routine, where the dancer uses a string to move a cone in the air.
