Brady to speak at IoD awards

FOOTBALL’S first lady Karren Brady is to be guest speaker at the inaugural Jersey Director of the Year Awards.

Ms Brady, recently installed as the new vice-chairman of West Ham United, will attend the gala event at the Hotel de France arranged by the Jersey branch of the Institute of Directors.

She is also likely to gain huge attention in the months ahead as she is to be Sir Alan Sugar’s right-hand woman in the next series of the television show The Apprentice.

IoD Jersey branch president Charles Clarke said: ‘We are delighted to announce Karren Brady as guest speaker.

‘She is widely recognised as a highly successful director and someone who has broken new ground during her extensive career.’
