Heroin in Christmas card man is jailed
Saturday 13th February 2010, 2:57PM GMT.

Jailed: Mark Hollings.
A MAN who imported heroin with a street value of £1,900 in a Christmas card has been jailed for three years.
Mark Hollings (35) already had 61 convictions for 128 offences when he appeared for sentencing in the Royal Court.
He had admitted six offences including theft, knowingly importing a controlled drug into the Island, possessing cannabis and heroin and driving while under the influence of drugs.
Detailing the range of offences, Crown Advocate Julian Gollop told the court on Thursday that customs officers opened a letter addressed to a flat in Grove Street on 3 October.
They found a Christmas card and five packets of heroin amounting to 1.8 grams inside.
A second package containing steroids for the same address was opened days later, the court heard.
When customs officers searched the address that the post was destined for they found Hollings, originally from Blackburn, and his girlfriend inside. They also found cannabis and a small amount of heroin at the flat, the Advocate told the court.
